The
Cape Point Route - a wonderful coastal route on the Cape Peninsula,
including beautiful destinations: Hout
Bay, Noordhoek, Kommetjie,
Scarborough,
Cape of Good Hope, Simon’s Town, Fish
Hoek, Kalk Bay, St.
James and Muizenberg. Just
30 minutes from Cape Town City Centre and 45 minutes from Cape Town International
Airport and the Winelands, this is an ideal area to explore.
On this route you will enjoy
a range of glorious white sandy beaches (18 different beaches on two coasts,
and two different oceans..!), spectacular mountain and ocean scenery, and
some lovely towns and villages along the way. Enjoy amazing views
while driving around Chapman's Peak, view the whales in False Bay, visit
the famous Penguins at Boulders Beach, and of course visit Cape Point itself
- the furthest point of the Cape Peninsula with astounding views, wild
life in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, lovely scenery and also the
point where the wild Atlantic meets the warmer Indian Ocean...
