Centrally
situated in Zululand within 300 acres of bush and game area surounded by
over 300 000 acres of national parks, including Hluhluwe, Umfolozi, Mkuzi,
Nduma, Sodwana Bay and The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. Bushlands Game
Lodge offers guests the ultimate African bush experience.
The boma
provides the perfect meeting place where guests can enjoy drinks around
the fire before dinner, or simply unwind at the end of a wonderful day.
The resident chef prepares mouth-watering meals and specialises in succulent
venison and other game dishes. Meals can be enjoyed in the main dining
room, or, weather permitting, under the African stars in the boma or on
the swimming pool deck. The enclosed outdoor viewing lounge allows guests
to view the animals as they come down to the watering hole.

Game
walks/drives to nearby reserves are available daily. Bushlands Game Lodge
has an abundance of birdlife on the property and is registered as a birder
friendly establishment. Ethnic cultural tour and show at DumaZulu Traditional
Village (10 minutes away), offers three shows daily; 8h15, 11.00 and 15h15.
Small
game such as zebra, warthog, giraffe, nyala and impala can be found on
the property either during an exhilarating walk on the Nyala trail, or
whilst enjoying refreshments in the viewing lounge, which overlooks the
watering hole. Bushlands Game Lodge also has an abundance of birdlife. |

lodge has 25 air conditioned rooms. In addition, the lodge offers a game
viewing lounge, where guests can enjoy the experience of watching the animals
come down to the watering hole.
The
restaurant with al-fresco terrace overlooks the pool area and the surrounding
bush life, including bush babies who come down at 20h00 for their apples!
The
outdoor boma and bar area provide guests the unforgettable experience of
being out under the African Sky, and, weather permitting, another venue
for dinner!
