At Carter's Lodge you'll feel pampered. Just 800 meters from the beach, Carter's Lodge is a four-star graded establishment conveniently situated being right across the road from the La Lucia Mall shopping centre and the Virgin Active Gym and Health Club, and close to restaurants, Gateway entertainment centre, Umhlanga and the La Lucia Ridge Business Parks.
Durban is just 10 minutes drive away, as is the Sun Coast and Sibaya Casinos, the ICC, the sports stadiums and uShaka Marine World. There are also seven top golf courses within 15 minutes drive. Other activities in the area include body boarding, surfing, Dolphin-watching, microlighting, skydiving, scuba-diving, deep sea fishing, horse riding along the beach, crocodile farm and lots more. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and en-suite and they have their own entrance leading in from the garden. They are equipped with TV with M-Net and DStv, tea and coffee facilities, bar fridge, hair dryer, safe and ceiling fan.
	The linen is white Percale and the towels are of good quality. Breakfasts are hearty, offering a full continental of cereals and fresh fruit and fruit juices, cold meats and cheeses and home-baked muffins and breads, as well as an English style cooked breakfast. There is secure off-street parking and each room has its own security. Major credit cards are accepted, except Diners Club. Breakfasts are generous with a full continental and English-style cooked breakfast being offered.
