Hog Hollow Country Lodge & Private Nature Reserve - Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, South Africa

Hog Hollow is a 4-star lodge set on the edge of an indigenous forest in a private nature reserve with panoramic views of the surrounding indigenous forests, valleys and mountains, in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa - the Garden Route.

Hog Hollow is well known for its delectable food. On crisp clear days farmhouse breakfasts are served on the wooden deck overlooking the forest or near the huge fireplace when it’s cooler. In the evenings, guests enjoy scrumptious dinners around the communal table in the candle-lit atmosphere of the main house.
 

Please note: we are set on the edge of a gorge so our landscape profile is very steep. We also have unfenced dams and an unfenced pool on the premises, so parents are kindly requested to accompany their children at all times when around these areas.  Hog Hollow is closed for the month of June. However, we are open for reservations all year round! 

Guests sleep comfortably in crisp linen and each night there is a special turndown. On chilly winter nights, we slip a hot water bottle between the sheets just in case the cosy fireplace isn’t enough.

Rooms are fitted with mini bars and mini hi-fis but no televisions or telephones.
