Those
searching for an intimate and uniquely private safari experience may book
the entire Lodge as one complete unit. This ensures unsurpassed peace,
seclusion and tranquillity. Extended families or a group of friends comprising
4 or more people may request the sole-use of the Lodge, either on a fully-serviced
self-catering basis or with the option of meals.
With the
emphasis on exclusivity, accommodation is limited to only 4 en-suite bedrooms,
each one exuding refinement and supreme comforts such as fully stocked
mini-bars, beverage trays, air-conditioning, overhead fans, hairdryers,
bathrobes, fine linen and beds that sleep oh so well.
The
4 masterfully appointed bedrooms are complimented by elegant entertainment
and dining areas, and a game viewing deck that provides the ideal vantage
point to observe the regular occurrence of elephant and buffalo feeding
in the reeds in front of the Lodge.
Specialised
safari excursions enable guests to explore the neighbouring Kruger Park
in search of Africa’s Big 5. These activities are offered by highly qualified
rangers and include full day or half day Open vehicle safari adventures,
bush walks and night drives. A favourite amongst guests is the Sundowner
open vehicle drive, followed by a BBQ Dinner under star-lit skies on the
remote plains of Kruger!
All
safari activities are undertaken by skilled rangers who are employed either
by the Kruger Park or by highly respected safari companies. Guests are
not obligated to select any Safari activities, but should any of the activities
below be selected guests will be charged accordingly. Alternatively, guests
may select to self-drive into Kruger by entering the nearby Malelane Gate,
the southern gateway to the Kruger Park.
